1. Who we are

aCheq is a product of Cling, based in the Netherlands. For privacy questions, please use the chat on our homepage.

2. What data we collect

aCheq collects minimal data necessary for the app to function:

• Email address — to create your account
• FCM token — to send push notifications to your emergency contacts
• GPS location (optional, Premium only) — only used at the moment of an emergency message, never stored

All other data (name, alarms, contacts, photo) is stored exclusively on your device.

3. How we use your data

• Email address — for authentication via Firebase Auth
• FCM token — to send push notifications to your emergency contacts
• Location — only included in the emergency message if you use Premium

4. Third parties

aCheq uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging) — for account management and push notifications

We never sell, rent or share your data with other parties for commercial purposes.

5. Security

Your data is secured through Firebase's security infrastructure. Data on your device is protected by your phone's security.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

• Right of access to your data
• Right to correction of incorrect data
• Right to deletion of your data
• Right to object to processing

You can delete your account via delete account.
