Is aCheq 100% safe?
No — and we say that honestly. aCheq is a tool, not a guarantee. The app works via your phone and internet. If there is no connection, the battery is dead or notifications are off, aCheq cannot work.

What if I have no internet?
Then aCheq does not work. No connection means no message. Always ensure a working internet connection and sufficient battery.

Don't kill the app
On some phones — especially Android — the system closes apps to save battery. On Samsung: Settings → Battery → Sleeping apps → Remove aCheq.
alarm
I can't turn off the alarm.
Swipe the clock left or right — swipe, do not tap. If the screen does not respond, check if a case blocks the touch. Still not working? Swipe right and immediately back to the left.

Why request a reset?
aCheq uses Google Firebase. The email address is the unique key for the database. A reset completely removes the email address. Fill in the form and we will handle it as soon as possible.

What does the blue border mean?
When you and your contact have added each other in aCheq, a blue border appears. This confirms the connection is active.

What is the heartbeat feature?
In the contact details there is a heartbeat icon. If your contact has enabled share activity, you can see when they last used the app. Note: your contact decides whether this is shared.

Phone number in the message.
Your phone number is only included if you have filled it in under Info → Personal details.
